About Laura
Hello! My name is Laura Jay-Ballinger, and I am a licensed psychotherapist. With 14 years of clinical experience, I've worked in a variety of settings but my passion has always remained the same:
I seek to empower women to engage the world from a place of worthiness and authenticity.
I seek to provide women with concrete, evidenced-based tools to help them move past barriers that have kept them stuck for too long.
I seek to help women find freedom from people-pleasing and learn to TRUST THEMSELVES.
I provide care through a compassionate, trauma-informed lens utilizing brainspotting, polyvagal theory, acceptance and commitment therapy, intuitive eating principles, cognitive behavioral therapy, shame resilience work, and most importantly, the restorative connection of the therapeutic alliance.
